Success.

Innovations we are proud of.

A state-of-the-art test system we built for fast particle detectors.

BIJOU can measure pulse rise times from keV electrons or ion hits, and it can analyze jitter at the picosecond scale.

Pushing measurement to the limit enables new particle detector technology.

BIJOU

Technology testbed additive manufacturing tool, complete and operational. Has been improved, with a version being commercially sold as Jōta System 1. This tool allows 1-photon photolithography at the submicron scale.

Rodin / Jōta

An ion mobility-mass spec previously applied to rodent brain coronal section imaging. This system can now be coupled with tunable Ti:sapphire lasers for probing samples for biogenesis (the origins of life).

Microchannel plates (MCPs) are a widely used technology for getting very high gain in many kinds of detectors. They are the active element of night vision optics, for example. Measuring the precise gain of newly created MCPs is essential to improving their performance. We created the Microchannel-plate Accurate Gain Measurement Apparatus for this purpose.
